Mid Day Update

I like the DRYS short. I dont want to be short AAPL going into earnings next week. The stock may run up before earnings.

How low do you think DRYS will go? It definitely sounds like a good move here though.

On Oct 11 you said you covered your ICE short and went long. Now you are saying you never covered and remained short. Just curious, but which is it?

I did cover my short on Ice and did go long but then sold it yesterday (monday) and then went short again. I went long today again in ICE. I make about 30-40 trades per a day so sometimes I cover and buy or sell and short in the same day. Just matters the volatility of the market. If I get into a position and a nice move happens right after, then I usually take profits. But if your ever wanted to know what I am holding at the moment, just ask,

It turned out to be a very profitable move. It help set some losses that I had when I shorted it at 117. I really have no clue how far it will go down. I am guessing maybe 113 but then again, I am not too sure.

I was thinking about going long on DRYS when it hits bottom. I think it has 130 potential. What do you think?

Hey UCLA, If it goes down to 113 and you think that its a bottom, you can take a shot at it. I prob will but with a stop loss

PTR looks so overbought but it sure is a scary one to short right now. I couldn’t do it. Since your short ICE, do you also think NYX is headed lower?

PTR does look really over bought. Might short 50 shares or so. As for ICE, I coverd the short and went long after the nice move downwards. I added to my long position today since the market seemed to recover. I also bought 200 shares of NYX at the close so I hope it does not head lower. I will prob sell if I see weakness. The market into the close today seemed to show some strength
