DJIA 11000

Today was a clean day for Wall Street as the DJIA rallied to close above 11000, a significant psychological number.

Investors were watching closely today to see if the DJIA would join its brothers (ie $NYA and $COMPQ) in yearly blue-skies territory. I really think that this strong close will strengthen investor confidence and pump some more capital into the markets and possibly ignite a quick bull run.

I guarantee you will hear about the DJIA’s 11000 close on tonights news. By the way, I like this resource on Stockcharts that displays important index and sector charts.
