The team at High Chart Patterns, a stock newsletter service, wrote in with tips on trading stock pivot prices.
We wanted to discuss today the various ways you can use our entry prices; numbers which are always representative of an important spot, be it resistance, break of downtrend line, etc, and which often act like magnets for stocks.

IGR, ING CLARION GLBOBAL REAL ESTATE, showed up on my symmetrical triangle stock trading program.

I like the bull flag breakout that happened in July, and I like the symmetrical breakout that happened today. I'm not sure if this is a real stock or an ETF, but I just like the chart.

WCG, Wellcare Health Plans Inc, has a good looking stock chart after a making a runaway gap. Here is the stock trading chart technical analysis.

I like how the support is still holding strong on this chart. WCG made a bullish candle after retesting the support today. The trend is your friend until it ends.

CXW, Corrections Corp or America, is in a bullish uptrend after making a runaway gapup.
CXW formed a bullish hammer today after making a test of the uptrending support. The trend is your friend until it ends.

Last weekend, I had the site moved to Steadfast Networks, our new hosting provider.
thebulltrader.com is now hosted at the prestigious Equinix datacenter in Chicago, IL. I hope this move will fix all the downtime problems that the site has been having lately.

MRO, Marathon Oil Corp., has showed up once again on my technical analysis stock screen.
I highlighted the stock a few weeks ago when MRO broke out of a downtrend. Keep MRO on your watchlists. I'm bullish on the energy, utilities, and oil sectors.

NVDA, Nvidia Corp., has been in the news lately because of possible buyout rumors from semiconductor giant INTC, Intel Corp.

The stock technical analysis for NVDA looks bearish. Although they have broken up above a downtrending resistance, it has formed a bearish "shooting star" type of candlestick today. Demand for the stock right now is probably driven largely in part by short covering & speculation. Keep it on your watchlists.

The stock chart for DLLR, Dollar Financial Corp., is looking very clean and bullish.
I like the bull flag breakout on the stock. Keep DLLR on your watchlists because it is on fire!

GOOG, Google Inc., made a sell signal a few days ago before their earnings report. Since then, GOOG has failed to recover from the breakdown.

In March 06, GOOG made a similar style of breakdown below the 200DMA. The price patterns and Full STO look similar, so keep an eye on it to see if history repeats itself. GOOG is neutral-bullish if it can close above the 200DMA and very bearish if it closes below $380.

LRY, Liberty Property Trust, has bottomed out and has made a bullish consolidation breakout.
Liberty Property Trust operates as a real estate investment trust. I like the long stock trading range the last few months because long bases make for big breakouts.

LNT, Alliant Energy Corp., has broken out of an ascending triangle stock chart formation.
LNT has a good support, and it is in the energy industry, which is very strong right now. Keep LNT on your watchlists; ascending triangles are my favorite setup.

The gap up on ESRX, Express Scripts Inc., caught my eye today.
ESRX has broken out of a downtrend and what appears to be an inverse head and shoulders stock chart setup. Also notice the symmetrical triangle upside breakout.

REY, Reynolds and Reynolds Co., has broken out to all time highs. Here is the stock chart analysis.

This stock chart looks awesome. Keep in mind this is a weekly chart. REY has support right now at around $31, so keep it on your watchlists for a swing trading setup.

BK, Bank of New York Co. Inc., has broken out of a death spiral sell off.
The chart is a classic bullish reversal chart pattern.
By Johns Wu on Jul 23, 2006
DOX, Amdocs Ltd., has broken out of a downtrend.
It also looks like the stock formed a double bottom stock chart pattern at around $33.50. Keep DOX on your watchlists as long as it stays above the yellow support. Otherwise, it may drift lower to fill the gap.

IDA, IdaCorp Inc., showed up on my stock breakout scan.
IDA is a utilities company, and that sector has been hot lately, so keep IDA on your watchlists.
