Personally I think the nanos suck. They scratch easily, are easily lost, look really no different than the tyical ipod, and are too expensive for their limited capabilities. Think about it ~$200 or $250 for a 2GB/4GB flash drive that only plays music and occasionally solitare. If it could play video files too... maybe. But nope. Might as well spend the money on the following:

1) 300-400GB PC hard drive. Maybe even 500!
2) Add another $50-100 to buy a 2GB+ memory card for a new cell phone that can play MP3s AND videos.
3) Buy a PDA that can play music and do many things computers can.

Maybe I'm an IPOD hater, but hey, I'm just being realistic and pragmatic here. In the future, there's no need for an exclusive gadget for an MP3 player. Cell phones, cameras, and mp3 players will unite as one and will be nano size. If you have the cash to burn, by all means...! Just my 2 cents.

"... too easy to break"?

LOL I think about 10 million iPod users would differ with you. Too bad you never owned one, you might know what you are talking about.

I agree the Nano rocks, though.

Cheers,
