this isnt finance related, but i just learned a few days ago that Apples (AAPL) Tiger OSX operating system has been modified (by smart hackers) to run on PCs. the cheapest option to run apple's popular OS used to be the $500 Mac Mini, but now you can buy a PC (which costs way cheaper than a mac), and run Tiger OSX on it.
