actually, it works pretty badly. however, u can still catch some good runs once inawhile, but the failure rate is definitely a lot higher when u breakout trade in a bear market.
breakdown trading is way more effective in a bear market. recent breakdowns i covered are SNDK and CSCO. also check out AAPL for a possible breakdown trade.
