Yeah, I said it. DHI reports earnings on May 6. They will probably be dismal. Technically, the stock doesn’t look bad. The stock may have bottomed and is now forming an ascending triangle. Supposedly, DHI is a well managed home builder who has the financial strength to manage thru the depression in the housing market. Anyhow, this stock may need to be watched over the next few weeks. Here is the 6 month chart:

I always find myself searching the web for sights with stock market news and free charts but I can’t find one simple site that gives all the info I want on one page so I can quickly see an over view of the market as well as news and stock charts, so I’m building a new web site for this purpose, I’ve just started working on this site so any advice would be approached.

The bad earnings won’t matter - all the bad news is priced in. Any glimmer of improvement on the call by DHI or the other builders will move the group higher. Any progress on Dodd-Frank will be a catalyst. See the stock breaking out through 18 next week - just want to see strong volume to confirm.
